Grupo Piedade has employed the latest technologies in the cork industry to produce a new generation of cork stoppers for sparkling wines.
The PIECHAMP cork stopper (0+1) / (0+2) is produced by individual moulding. The 3 to 7 mm granulated cork of the body of the cork stopper cover the entire surface of the natural cork disks. This perfect association between the 2 components of the cork stopper (agglomerated body + 2 disks) guarantees a specific uniformity and mechanical behaviour (elasticity, compressive force, extraction force, resistance to boiling water and seal capability).
All product used in the manufacture of Piechamp comply with FDA regulations.
